Numbers – What do they mean?

Numbers and Meanings

Winding back the clock – In 2001 I headed out to Uluru with a girlfriend.  From start to finish this adventure had a number 5 theme running deeply through its veins.

We were both at major crossroads in our lives.  The intuition received during our adventure played a remarkable and hilarious part in the journey, what we initially considered to be a few synchronicities, became a constant reoccurring theme. Seeing the number 5 at almost every turn, reminded us that life was going to be changing in a big way – the messages received were written as highlights we couldn’t ignore.

Everything from seat numbers on the plane, motel room numbers and registration of the hire car was in 5’s. At one point we caught a bus from our motel to a drop off point, as we stepped onto the bus the driver loudly and proudly announced there are now 5 seats left on this bus, we just laughed. The food we bought, dinner tickets we purchased, fuel for the car and our motel bill all continued the rolling theme.

Thank heavens for a good dose of the old sense of humour; otherwise the brakes would have been well and truly on by now, with us scurrying for a back door exit. Acceptance has its advantages.

Life altered immensely for us both on our return home – I received an additional prompt waiting on my doorstep – the local paper lay buried amongst the pile of mail,  as I returned phone calls I casually flicked though it.  Page 5 article:  5 people departing to Uluru for 5 days on $500, a competition being run by the local paper.  “Smile”

There are many ways you can receive intuitive guidance in your life – numbers are simply one way.  They are everywhere,  on your mobile phone, on number plates,  the money you pay at the checkout.

Have you ever noticed that you glance at the time and it is 11.11am or 2.22pm,  funny isn’t it. When this happens next notice what you were thinking when you glanced at the clock, there may be a hint to help you along your life path.

  • 111 New beginnings.
  • 222 Allow love and compassion in, the only way it can be resolved is by love and compassion.
  • 333  You are being Divinely Guided, keep going.
  • 444  The angels are with you.
  • 555  You are at an important crossroads in your life.
  • 666  Someone/something coming in to give you a physical lesson.
  • 777  Watch out for what you were thinking before you saw it. when you see 777 it confirms your thoughts.
  •  888 Abundance flowing in.
  •  999 Completions, things winding themselves up.
  • 000 There is nothing you need to do right now.

What a fascinating and beautifully-written post, Ensha! Nice work! Your story was so compelling, you totally got me in.
Funny how 000 says ‘do nothing’ I wonder if they knew that when they set up the emergency phone number!
I have my own fascination with numbers, as you can see here: http://bit.ly/drn7tz My Number 5 is pretty grubby; I’d better get a new one. Thank you for the learning. Best regards and keep them coming! P. :)

Thanks Paul for your comments. Yes the 000 is interesting, maybe after you phone emergency you have done the most important thing.
5′s mean change and triple 5′s is a major crossroads.

    Hi Ensha,

Thanks for a really interesting post Ensha and a couple of questions for you. Do the numbers have to appear at the same time or period of time to have meaning?

I notice that 8 means abundance. The chinese say 8 is a lucky number or that is what I have read. The second question is do the numbers have universal meaning or for example do different religions place different meanings?

  4. Ensha Reiya Says:

    Thanks Susan
You will find that you notice a certain number more say over say a day or two and mostly in multiples, Example – your driving between destinations and see several number plates of multiple 7′s, take a look at what thoughts have been going through your mind. at the time.
The meanings I have written are universal, rather than cultural, though the Chinese do like their triple 8′s.

Thanks for the explanations Ensha. After reading this I am going to be more aware of numbers.

I recently blogged about this, too. I think the number of people who are getting little messages from spirit via numbers is increasing. Very fascinating stuff!

Hi Ensha, I have always been a firm believer in numbers, the numbers 5 and 7 have always played a big part in my life. I see 555 every day on my rego number, although I put it there (nearly 8 years now), is it still significant?? My e-mail address also contains 555, have I been trying to tell myself something for a lot of years?? Phil G

Hi Phil, it’s interesting how some numbers just keep showing up in our lives. And others not at all. 5 signifies change and freedom. Work out your birth, life path number – if you haven’t already done so. See what that adds up too.
The universe is efficient – and works on purpose. Even though years have gone past, it would still be significant. Often it is just about the timing.
